Last trip of the season and at this point serious convesations being had about starting our own business. Destinations were Red River and Angel Fire, NM. We had heard rumor Red River recently opened the slopes to biking so we were anxious to try it out. Day 1: Red River. Awesome runs, very aggressive in some areas. Do your cardio before going to Red River as you will spend some times on the Blacks. We stopped by 3 local shops in RR and all interested in the rental flyers we gave for for SkiByk. On Day 2 we hit up Angel Fire and it was simply amazing. Fresh powder, warm temps, snow stayed soft all day long. We had perfected the tuning of the ski’s and so the bikes are handling as close to perfect as possible. We spent 1/2 days filming training and demo videos, the other half blasing the slopes and talking to folks interested in riding the SB100’s. On the roadtrip back to Texas we detoured many backroads to take in the New Mexico countryside. This is where and when the idea of TexasSkiBikes was born.
